Says Anna of S&D…“I’m uninspired by minimal, tropical flower displays that you find in bland hotel receptions and soulless offices, they’re boring and a bit pretentious. I’d like to be given a modern classic bouquet that reminds you a little bit of your Grandma!” Which is exactly the reason why Anna’s florals are in The Chimney House.

We love florals… especially those English beauties that make you think of summer hedgerows and the warm smell of said hedgerows when the sun is beating down. Anna is flower heaven in a person. She totally gets the vibe at The Chimney House and so when I announced for the first meeting we had – I want sprigs in bottles they arrived hand delivered, pert and full of personality… those flowers knew they were beautiful and they were proud to be in The Meeting Room. Naturally they lasted for EVER… well 2 weeks – although one bottle is still going strong into it’s 3^rd week.  She’s also finding us some Orange trees as I fancy a bit of orange squeezing this summer. I’m hoping for more than a thimbleful which is being optimistic.

Swallows and Damsons like words like vintage, glamour and rustic – we like those words as well.

Also a nice note to add on is that all flowers are ethically sourced which makes us love our flowers even more.
