We hosted a really lovely 50th Birthday last Sunday… Made lovely by some really great people – most of all Vlatka and Tim who were the hosts of their 45 guests for Tim’s birthday.
Fabulously the sun pinged out from behind a storm cloud and shone merrily down as guests arrived for champers on the cobbles at lunchtime..No finer place to be than sitting on the wall looking over the waterways…
Seated for a late luncheon – guests tucked into a fish pie with Italian peas and carrots with mash and fresh green salads…
The birthday crew was a collection of dear friends and family who came together to eat n chat their way through a Sunday afternoon and to toast a fabulous 50th! Speeches were made and much hilarity was had – and pin drop silence for a wonderful collection of words from Tim himself in his bday address.
Vlatka had made a HUGE cake which was as we told her a ‘triumph’ of cake creation…I wasn’t expecting anything less given her talent for creative genius…We strongly recommend having a peek on her site as she’s totally hip and is tipped to head for the big time…If not there already!!! We think so!!!!

We were so inspired by Tim and Vlatka…Global creatives who were as humble and crammed full of integrity as you could hope to wish for – but teaming with warmth and niceness…For us we couldn’t think of better guests last Sunday at The Chimney House…And wish you HAPPY BDAY Tim this week!
