This week we’ve had pretty much the best bits of getting hitched… In a sort of backward order! Tuesday was the big day…With a stunning wedding party…Take a peek here…Then on Thursday we hosted a dream ‘pre-wedding’ dinner (OMG that speech!!!!) And last night we finished the week of romance and fun with a super chic hen clique…Guess who was in The House?
It was Alice of course…
The Chimney House was decked out with bunting and we crammed bottles and vessels full of huge blooms that dwarfed other items on the table in line with Alice’s ‘eat me’ ‘drink me’ consequential happenings.
We laid on a slinky candle-lit supper – taking on the Mad Hatter at his own game… With dinky bitesizes versus monster mouthfuls.
As ever Coco- with their talents never-ending had cooked up a storm including smoked salmon & cream cheese blinis, chipolatas in honey and wholegrain mustard, quail egg croustades, cocktail salmon and dill cakes with crème fraiche, basil, pea & pancetta tart, caramelised onion and goat’s cheese galettes and mini Yorkshire puddings with pastrami with tomato chutney & rocket…
En Vogue and freshly made Lemon Drizzle cake with strawberries paired with sweet raspberry topped and dainty cupcakes followed…Private Dining at its most perfect!!
The girls knocked back pink champers and danced and pranced – as well as other Alice like activities…When there was a knock at the door and we had a visit from the Police…. Eeeeekkkk….. But as you’d expect with an Alice style adventure…Things were not all as they seemed and events did indeed take a curiouser and curiouser turn…But that’s not our tale to tell…Hee hee!!!
