The masters of gastro universe… The Milestone are cooking up evening feasts and fabulous taste sensations for The Chimney House. We’re going to be making the sort of environment of the best dinner party in your own home (or someones cooler home) but in the curious surrounds of The Meeting Room.
We love The Milestone because they are always busy sourcing and championing local and you’ll catch them out rummaging and foraging for the best bits from the area. We’ve suggested fishing for Pike in the goit next to The Chimney House… I wonder … Pike Pie has a ring of the Victorian about it…. could taste brutal – but with a nice pie crust… hmmmmm maybe they’ll teach me to make it at their super popular Cookery schools…
They’ve also got nice piggies – Gloucester Old Spots – that are not only rare breed but taste deliciously free range and wholesome on account of their scamping and frolicking in the green grass of Yorkshire.
We like the fact that Jay Rayner also thinks The Milestone rocks… we’re v proud! Well done guys!!
